The Get Smart Wausau Coalition is a volunteer group of Educators, Financial Institutions, Media, Non-Profit Organizations, Municipal/Government and Other businesses working to bring free or low-cost financial education in the Greater Wausau Wisconsin area to anyone looking for ways to better manage their money.
Sessions currently scheduled include:
- Financial Counseling - This is a FREE two-hour session at UWEX. Session dates are held at UWEX. Pre-registration is required. Call 715-261-1230 for more information on available dates.
- Home Buyer Workshop - This workshop is for first time home buyers and features WHEDA’s Home Buyer Education Program. Learn everything you need to know about buying a home.
- Money Smart Week - Watch for unique money management programs during the week of October 10-17, 2009.
- Dollars and Sense - On Wednesday, October 22nd Newsline 9 enlisted the help of a panel of financial professionals to answer your questions regarding the current financial situation. Featured videos of that newscast and other financial information is available on the Newsline 9 website.
